Fire Sends Two Chicago Firefighters to Hospital

Two firefighters were injured in an extra-alarm blaze on the Northwest Side that spread to several buildings, officials said. The fire started around 11 a.m. in a 3-story building in the 2900 block of North Kedzie Avenue. It was raised to a 3-11 alarm until it was struck out at about 12:15 p.m.Two firefighters were taken to a hospital for treatment.
